[Press Release] LOTTE Biologics announced on June 4 that it will be participating in the BIO International Convention 2026, taking place this month in San Diego, California.

Hosted annually by the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), BIO International Convention is one of the world's largest biotechnology events, bringing together global biopharmaceutical companies and industry stakeholders, with LOTTE Biologics marking its fifth consecutive year of participation since its launch in 2022.

At this year's exhibition booth, LOTTE Biologics will be operating a dedicated private meeting space designed to host discussions with global partners and customers. The company will also be holding interactive programs including an "Immersive Facility" presentation showcasing its manufacturing capabilities, as well as experiential activities related to ADC (antibody-drug conjugate) manufacturing technologies.

Three "Immersive Facility" presentations will be held during the event. On the first day, LOTTE Biologics will be hosting a joint talk with Asimov, the leading cell development organization, to introduce collaborative, acceleration strategies in development and manufacturing. On the second day, the company will share scale-up strategies leveraging computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technologies to improve manufacturing efficiency through internal fluid flow analysis within bioreactors. On the third day, LOTTE Biologics will highlight its digital manufacturing capabilities by presenting strategies for manufacturing digitalization and operational innovation.

This year’s booth will feature visual content showcasing the upcoming Songdo Bio Campus, Plant 1, through actual images and video footage. Visitors will be able to explore the facility’s production processes, building structure, and core manufacturing infrastructure ahead of its completion scheduled for August this year.

LOTTE Biologics will also emphasize the strategic value of its dual-site manufacturing network spanning Syracuse, New York and Songdo, Korea. Through this network, the company aims to provide flexible and scalable biologics manufacturing services while supporting efficient tech transfer and global supply chain continuity for partners worldwide.

A representative from LOTTE Biologics said, "As completion of the Songdo Bio Campus Plant 1 approaches, the BIO International Convention will serve as an opportunity to showcase our competitive manufacturing capabilities to global partners and prospective customers. Building on our dual-site operating network connecting Syracuse and Songdo, we will continue strengthening our competitiveness in the global CDMO market."
